Bakehat provides freshly baked, naturally-leavened bread to folks in Austin, TX.
Offering high-quality bread, we use grains grown and milled in Texas by our friends at Barton Springs Mill and their partner farmers.
I no longer am selling subscriptions, but you can always reach out with a special order. If I have the time available, I’d love to bake for you. Please note I’ll need at least 72 hours’ notice to fulfill your bread order, in most cases.
Please note: I am legally only able to sell my bread in Texas and unfortunately cannot accommodate shipping requests. Bread can be picked from my place in Central East Austin!

Couple of things:
- All of our bread contains gluten. That might change in the future, but here at the start, we are not gluten-free.
- Pre-order at least 72 hours in advance of when you’d like your bread.
- Pickup only in East Austin during the COVID-19 pandemic and “Stay-At-Home Order”.
- All Bakehat bread is made with fresh, Texas-grown grains and flours from Barton Springs Mill.
